Off Grid, anyone?
Ever thought about going off-grid? Just listed 15.79 acres in north Brazos County here in Texas. The property is raw, never been improved, heavily wooded, with a seasonal spring. Abundant wildlife including deer and wild hog. Only 20 miles from Interstate 45, and 20 miles from Bryan/College Station.
Here's an opportunity to truly go off grid in self-sustaining style. Pick your homesite, go with a cistern for water harvesting and tap solar for your power. These 15.79 acres can be yours for $4,000/acre.
Access is provided by an easement road. The property has 400 feet access to the easement. Electricity, and phone is in the area for the less adventurous.
Call or drop me an e-mail to visit this property .

Found a new site on the "InterWebs." They have some really nice charts looking at the nation's current housing situation. The site is NewObservations.net. The report is "The New Year’s Guide of 10 Key Charts To See Before You Buy A Home." It is quite interesting - sad too. It's very interesting about the housing affordability. If you're a buyer, it sure looks like it's the time to start looking. It's getting better for sellers as well. It's been a lot worse than it is now.
The picture on home equity is not too good. It seems that over 7 trillion dollars has been lost in home owners equity. This is devestating to many people and is the reason you're hearing about so many people walking away from their mortgage.
It looks like NewObservations.net has some good information for those in the Real Estate market. |
